Ms. Anna Thomas
Wow, what an amazing journey I have already
had here at The Lovett School!
Some of you might already recognize me from my position on the After School Activities Program staff or from your child's participation in afternoon enrichments. While I will still be working in ASAP, I am beyond thrilled to begin my first year of teaching here in 3rd grade with Mrs. Smith!
Before I started my career here at Lovett, I attended the University of Georgia where I earned my undergraduate degree in early childhood education. After graduating in 2012, I felt that my learning was far from complete, so I continued my education at the University of Georgia and graduated with my M.Ed. in early childhood education in 2013. Throughout my years at UGA, I worked at Pace Academy’s summer camp and holiday camp.
Aside from my love of learning, I do have many other interests. For starters, I am a huge sports fan! I love "calling" the Georgia Bulldogs, "chopping" for the Atlanta Braves, and "rising up" for the Atlanta Falcons as well. In addition to sports, I enjoy baking, singing, going to movies, writing, crafting, and attending concerts. I have two dogs, Cooper and Baxter, who are as sweet as can be.
So there is a little bit about me! Looking forward to getting to know everyone and beginning our fun-filled year here in 3rd grade!
